Boogeo Jjim
25,000 won |
|
At first, Boogeo (dried Pollack) is cut into bite-size pieces,
and it is marinated in soya sauce, millet jelly, edible oil,
powdered red pepper and garlic.
Finally, all the ingredients are steamed in a pot. The spine
and small bones are removed before cooking the fish.
The taste of Boogeo Jjim is both sweet and spicy and it is
sometimes added to baked fish and Doenjang Jjigae as a garnish.
