I would like to thank all
of our customers for their visit to our restaurant. The Jeonju Jungang
Restaurant has 46 year old history and is the original maker of Jeonju
Gobdol Bibimbab. Jeonju Gobdol Bibimbab is the pride of our restaurant.
We use about 30 different kinds of ingredients like bean sprouts,
cooked roots of balloonflowers, fernbrake parsley, long slices of
cucumber, potato buds, green bean sprouts, long slices of cabbage,
egg, spicy minced meat and to top it all off, we add our uniquely
aged Jeopjang paste with bull bone gravy. Of course, this is all served
on rice. I guarantee that you will enjoy this colorful and flavorful
dish. We also use a very special, good quality stone bowl (Jangseong
Gobdol) which keeps the food warm. In this way, you can enjoy warm
and delicious Bibimbab until the meal is done. The main location of
the Jeonju Jungang Restaurant is in Myungdong, Seoul and we have four
branches which are located in Myungdong, Bukchangdong and Jejudo.
All of the restaurants carry the same delicious basic menu (Gobdol
Bibimbab, Glutinous rice Haemul Pajeon and Naengmyun) and all are
opened throughout the year.
If you visit our restaurant, you will see the usher wearing a bamboo
hat and a Dopo (traditional Korean attire) and the waitress wearing
a beautiful Hanbok (traditional Korean dress). Finally, the ambiance
is topped off with the sounds of the traditional Korean flute and
drums.
We would like to thank all of our customers, especially our foreign
guests. We will do our best to satisfy our customers with excellent
traditional Korean cuisine.
