  At first, Boogeo (dried Pollack) is cut into bite-size pieces, and it is marinated in soya sauce, millet jelly, edible oil, powdered red pepper and garlic.
Finally, all the ingredients are steamed in a pot. The spine and small bones are removed before cooking the fish.
The taste of Boogeo Jjim is both sweet and spicy more plentiful than Boogeo Jjim Baekban.
